This was my first year teaching at VHS.  I spent the first semester hopping from class to class every period.  It was interesting keeping track of keys for all the rooms.  I hauled a small suitcase on wheels which I loaded and unloaded every hour.  I vividly remember rain and steps.  Then I got my own room, #69.   What a relief.  I hear some teachers move around for two years until they get their own room.  All of a sudden, I felt very lucky.
