Who am I ?
- Place of birth
- The hospital
- Date of birth
- 11/11/1962. How young am I?
- Family
- I have one sister, Nadine, (one year younger) and one brother, Jean-Claude (3 years
younger.)
- I am married to Mrs. Chamaa and have one son, Jean-Luc (born in 1994) and one daughter, Sophie.
(born in 1997)
- Job title
- Math teacher
- Main responsibilities
- To educate my students in mathematics. Simple to say, quite complex to achieve, and
worth all the effort.
- To be a good husband and a good father. Not so easy either, but very rewarding.

- Math
- Does this require any explaining or clarification?
- Computers
- Computers are wonderful machines. I think everyone over two years old should use one.
People, especially kids should use computers instead of watching TV. It does not matter
whether you like PC's or Macs. They are both good machines. I encourage my students to use
computers whenever possible.
- Racquet ball
- Racquetball is a fast game that will give me a good workout while having a great time.
I also enjoy it because it involves a great deal of geometry, which is my
favorite subject in mathematics. It's all about angles.
- Cars
- There is plenty of mathematics in cars. I personally prefer BMW's. I
fix them, I modify them and I race them. (On the track of course.)
- Motorcycles
- I have been riding motorcycles since I was 12. I started on a Honda 50 and stopped
riding in May of 1997 when I got hit by a car who ran a stop sign while I was on a Honda
750 Super Sport. It was a terrifying experience. I don't know if I'll
ever ride again.
- Gardening
- I have a green thumb. I enjoy growing most anything. It is a rewarding experience to
nurse a sick and dying plant back to life. I also grow some fruits and vegetables.
It's a great family activity and a lot of fun.
