How your grades are calculated:
- Homework (25%): There will be some almost
every day. You may be randomly quizzed on it or it may be collected.
- Tests and Quizzes (65%): Quizzes are mostly unannounced. They are usually
5 minutes long and include 5 questions. Tests are announced a week in advance and usually
last all period long.
- Effort and Participation (10%): That is the easiest part of your
grade.
NOTICE: I don't "give" grades, students "earn
grades." I just calculate the numbers from the assignments as described above,
and come out with a grade. |
